Sustainability at Our Core

Luxury that gives back to the land and its people.

Our Philosophy

Hospitality That Heals

At Prithviraj Resorts, sustainability is not a feature — it is the foundation. We began with a simple question: can a luxury resort leave its landscape richer than it found it? Everything we have built since is our answer.

In Koraput, that answer takes the form of solar arrays hidden among the trees, kitchens that compost every peel, and cottages raised by local hands using local materials. It means that when you stay with us, your comfort is powered by the sun and your meals travel metres, not miles.

It also means people. The tribal communities of southern Odisha are the true custodians of this land, and our resorts exist in partnership with them — as employers, as patrons of their art, and as neighbours committed to their prosperity.

As we grow towards Puri and beyond, this ethos travels with us. Because we believe the future of luxury is not more — it is deeper.

Four Pillars

The commitments that shape every decision.

Zero-Waste Operations

Composting, recycling, and mindful sourcing mean nothing our resorts produce ends up in a landfill. Kitchens run on seasonal menus that use every part of the harvest.

Renewable Energy

Our facilities run on 100% solar power, with battery storage and passive cooling design reducing energy demand from the ground up.

Cultural Preservation

Tribal art, architecture, music, and cuisine are woven into every guest experience — creating sustained income for the custodians of these traditions.

Community Employment

The majority of our team comes from surrounding villages, with training programmes that build long-term careers in hospitality.

Recognition

An Odisha State Model Project

Our Koraput property has been recognised as a State Model Project for sustainable eco-tourism — a benchmark for how hospitality can drive conservation, cultural preservation, and rural livelihoods at once. The recognition belongs equally to the communities whose knowledge and craft make it possible.
